Tobin, Genevieve

(1899-1995)
   Born in New York, Genevieve Tobin debuted in 1912 in a revival of Disraeli, and proved to be a winsome ingénue in Oh, Look! (1918), Palmy Days (1919), Little Old New York (1920), Polly Preferred (1923), The Youngest (1924), Dear Sir (1924), This Woman Business (1926), Murray Hill (1927), Fifty Million Frenchmen (1929), and as Cordelia in a 1923 production of King Lear. Tobin married motion picture director William Keighley.
